Brown Girl Music

Brown Girl Music is a Chicago based company that produces music showcases for a diverse audience. Brown Girl Music’s first showcase was the Positively Acoustic songwriting showcase, which ran from 2005-2007 in and around Chicago, was a successful, family -friendly monthly series that featured artists from across the nation in an intimate setting where they shared the stories that inspired their songs. Songwriting Showcase for Girls, Ages 9-18

Brown Girl Arts is currently developing a music workshop and showcase for Chicago area girls who play the guitar, scheduled for July, 2010. We are also planning a community art workshop led by Chicago artists in August, 2010.
